As soon as you arrive at the Peninsula marina you experience the relaxed Norfolk Broads atmosphere as you pass by the luxury hire cruisers, and private boats and yachts in the marina. Park in the secure car park and walk the dozen or so steps along a covered walkway to your cottage. Before you even enter the cottage at the front door, you will marvel at the views and how close you are to the river. Enjoy the refreshments from your Welcome Pack and settle in. Take a leisurely walk across the marina car park to “The Shed”, the marina’s own bistro and licensed bar, where you can enjoy a family friendly pub atmosphere and check out the bistro’s current food offering and pub style facilities of pool table, darts etc.
A five minute further walk around the marina past the tourist ferries brings you to the iconic Wroxham Bridge where you can book your tickets in advance for one of the several different sightseeing trips. Walking over the bridge (and looking back to take photos of your cottage) you enter the small town centre of Wroxham with all the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, and every kind of take-away.

Wherry Cottage, is a 2 bedroom (double and twin) self catering holiday cottage, sleeping 4, set in a prime riverside location within the Peninsula marina with it’s own bar and bistro right in the heart of Wroxham, capital of the Norfolk Broads, with views of Wroxham Bridge, or the river Bure from all rooms. The cottage has it’s own private mooring and free fishing from the marina and a 100m of riverbank in the shared landscaped gardens, with parking for 2 cars behind a secure barrier.
