Starting beside the main railway station is the Bure Valley Steam Railway offering an 18 mile all round trip along the Bure Valley to the historic village of Aylsham.
Also near the same place is the new Miniature World with extensive model railway and village

Just a couple of miles brings you to the Bewilderwood Activity Adventure Park
Also nearby is the Museum of the Broads and the RAF Radar museum.
Horning village is just a couple of miles away with 3 riverside restaurants and pubs, and the starting point for the Southern Comfort paddle boat taking trips from the swan Hotel to Ranworth Broad.
8 miles from Wroxham is the village of Potter Heigham , another centre of boating activity at the other iconic Broads bridge on the river Ant.
There’s the windmill at Horsey Mere and a number of nature reserves including The Broads Wildlife Centre at Ranworth Broad.
Also within 12 miles is the Norfolk coastline with many small sandy beach villages and the main seaside resorts of Gt Yarmouth (and it’s Golden Mile), Cromer (famous for it’s crabs) and Sheringham.
